Les Nuits Botanique bows out on 31 May 2026 at Botanique, Brussels, with a night centered on artists who bend pop and club codes in their own way.
Smerz, the Oslo-born duo living between Norway and Copenhagen, set the tone with minimal, vocal-led electronics. Their tracks stitch R&B inflections to clipped drums, spoken-sung mantras and tight harmonies. From the early EPs Okey and Have Fun to the album Believer and the recent Big City Life, they keep folding intimate narratives into clear, punchy structures that tilt slightly off-center on stage.
Miami producer Nick León brings a percussive, low-end approach that slides between electronic and hip-hop frameworks. Layers of rhythm, humid atmospheres and fine-grained sound design lock together around the bass, pushing the dance floor without losing detail.
Stockholm’s Oli XL approaches the club from another angle: agile tempos, elastic textures and vocal manipulations arranged like a collage. His set leans into broken patterns and sudden swerves, tracing a line between experimental electronics and rough-edged pop.
A closing chapter for Les Nuits that looks ahead, each live set drawing its own path between song form and the dance floor.
