Celtic Legends

On 21 March 2027 at Le Silo in Marseille, Celtic Legends celebrates 25 years on stage with a new anniversary show. The Irish troupe brings together dancers, musicians and singers around a repertoire drawn from reels, jigs and ballads. Tap dancing converses with the live music, shifting between tight ensemble passages and solos, in choreographies by Jacintha Sharpe. On the sound side, Sean McCarthy’s direction spotlights an acoustic quintet — uilleann pipes, penny whistle, fiddle, bodhrán and guitar — for a set performed entirely live.

Designed for the stage, the show unfolds nearly two hours of Irish dance and Celtic folk, alternating brisk tempos and melodic interludes. After tours to all corners of the globe and several million spectators, Celtic Legends returns with the DNA that defines it: collective energy, rhythmic precision and a passion for live performance. The Marseille date condenses the group’s history and its desire to bring the audience as close as possible to the heartbeat of the tradition.
