Luc Langevin - L'illusionniste

On February 10, 2027, at Zénith Nantes Métropole in Saint-Herblain, Luc Langevin returns with a new chapter in his journey as an illusionist. Known for his large-scale illusions conceived as genuine experiences, he presents a fourth show here, co-written and developed with his long-time collaborator, magician and designer Stéphane Bourgoin. Together they devise tailor-made routines in which every detail counts, combining precise mechanics, meticulously measured rhythms and ruptures that shift the viewer’s perspective.

Supported by luminous scenography and a soundtrack conceived as a unifying thread, Langevin explores the tension between head and heart. Sequences follow one another, alternating between breadth and intimacy, establishing a play of false appearances that questions our desire to distance ourselves from reality. Here, the illusions do not merely accumulate: they serve a narrative, with moments that rely on ingenuity, the elegance of gesture and the clarity of images. A show made for the stage, where technical creation and storytelling advance together, never revealing the seams.
