Info
On December 4, 2026, Portugal. The Man arrived at the Élysée Montmartre in Paris with The Denali Tour. Born in Alaska and honed in Portland, the band led by John Gourley and Zach Carothers carves a path between indie rock, psychedelia, pop and touches of soul. From the lo-fi, experimental early years of Waiter: “You Vultures!” and Church Mouth to the broader songwriting of Censored Colors and The Satanic Satanist, the band has sharpened a blend of edgy guitars, ethereal keyboards and gripping rhythms.
On stage, Portugal. The Man draws widely from its catalogue: the pop and electronic thrust of Evil Friends (with Danger Mouse), the anthemic, Woodstock-sized choruses propelled by the single “Feel It Still,” and the more open textures of Chris Black Changed My Life. With lyrics rooted in reality and arrangements that shift from a relaxed groove to fuzz-driven climaxes, the set navigates between rock heft and melodic flashes. Between psychedelic energy, immediate hooks and electronic pulses, Gourley’s voice leads the charge, supported by a solid rhythm section.
