Cult Of Luna

On 19 June 2026, Cult of Luna takes over Le 106 in Rouen. Born in Umeå in the late 1990s, the band gradually moved away from the local hardcore vein toward a broader approach to songwriting where post-metal, sludge and post-hardcore intersect. In concert, the pieces unfold over time: dense guitars, slow progressions, pronounced contrasts and a focus on textures, with crescendos that shift the center of gravity from one track to the next. From The Beyond and Salvation to Somewhere Along the Highway, then Eternal Kingdom and Vertikal, their repertoire carves a path between smouldering tensions and urban, industrial imagery. The Mariner project with Julie Christmas reinforced the narrative and vocal dimension, a thread continued by A Dawn to Fear, the EP The Raging River and The Long Road North. On stage, this material becomes a sonic architecture that alternates impact, suspension and renewed momentum, unhurriedly allowing each motif to breathe and take shape.
