Sam Sauvage

Sam Sauvage stops in Castres as part of his tour. A self-taught singer-songwriter from northern France, he develops an alternative pop marked by ’80s rock, new wave and a very contemporary poetic sensibility. You can hear echoes of Bashung, the offbeat art dear to Talking Heads, and a narrative precision that calls Stromae to mind. Propelled by a self-titled debut EP released on the Cinq 7 label, he delivers direct, visual songwriting, a voice that comes to the fore, and retro‑modern textures tailored for live performance.

On stage, Sam Sauvage turns his songs into electric tableaux: nervous pulses, angular guitars, basslines that push toward dance, and words that snap straight to the point. Between chanson, rock and a touch of theatre, he sets up a narrative that moves forward cleanly, without excess or flash.
