A direct return to rock’n’roll roots with Les Forbans, at the Théâtre Cinéma Jacques Prévert in Aulnay‑sous‑Bois on 22 May 2026. Formed in the Paris region in the late 1970s, the band built its identity on a blend of rockabilly, twist and dancefloor-ready songs, with taut guitars and chorused refrains. Their repertoire draws on the codes of the 50s and 60s and lines up familiar numbers such as “Chante”, “Tape des mains”, “Flip Flap” and “Hot Dog”, all presented in a simple, direct format designed to get the room moving.
In the spirit of Back to the 60’s, Les Forbans put the energy of the dance and the desire to move back at the centre, while dancers from Believe in Swing add depth to the evening. Between rock’n’roll beats, twist tempos and nods to the old dance halls, the set unfolds without detour what has been the band’s signature since the start: a rhythmic rock sung in French, rooted in yesterday’s standards and made for an evening where the music calls for movement.
