Info
On April 28, 2026 at the Salle Pleyel, Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox arrives with The Future Is Vintage Tour, a concept tailor-made for fans of reinvented pop. Founded by pianist and arranger Scott Bradlee, the collective turns contemporary hits into period-style versions—ranging from swing and ragtime to doo‑wop, retro soul and big band.
On stage, a rotating lineup of guest singers—each with their own distinct character—take turns, while a rhythm section and brass add depth to arrangements conceived as standards from another era. The idea is simple and effective: shift the codes of a current song toward acoustic textures, jazz harmonies and vintage grooves to reveal new contours.
At the piano, Scott Bradlee, the driving force, orchestrates this back-and-forth between past and present with a precise sense of style and attention to detail. The set draws on pop, R&B and hip‑hop, rewritten in the vein of 1930s–60s club music, with breaks, backing vocals and solos that leave room for the performers. The Future Is Vintage Tour spotlights fresh reinterpretations and a cast that evolves from date to date, true to the project’s DNA. An evening when you recognize the melodies but not necessarily their usual attire, at the Salle Pleyel in Paris.
