In a sharp, biting stand-up, this strong-willed yet highly sensitive performer revisits a path strewn with pitfalls. With her acerbic repartee and characteristic quick wit, she tells her story—the story of a young woman whom rejection for being different and mental illness could not stop. Surprising, moving, a misfit, Florence Mendez takes pleasure in tearing down norms and human stupidity with fierce but always funny punchlines.
Florence Mendez has won several comedy competitions, including the one at the Voo Rire Festival in Liège. She also made a name for herself in Montreux, which later enabled her to work as a columnist on the Téva channel for the talk show Piquantes!, hosted by Nicole Ferroni. Since 2024, she has joined Guillaume Meurice’s team on the show La Dernière on Radio Nova.
