On 11 December 2026 at La Boule Noire in Paris’s 18th arrondissement, Ão presents a live set at the crossroads of languages and heritages. The Belgian quartet brings together Brenda Corijn on vocals, Siebe Chau on guitar, Jolan Decaestecker on synths and Bert Peyffers on percussion. Nourished by her Mozambican and Portuguese roots, Brenda shifts between Portuguese and English with a warm voice, while the group weaves a sound in which pop sits alongside electronic textures and percussive motifs.

On stage, Ão emphasizes collective listening and contrasts: delicate melodies, compelling rhythms, bright guitars and muted synths. Their songwriting strikes a balance between intimacy and movement, with an attention to detail that leaves space for breaths and buildups.

Malandra, their album released on 13 February 2026, supplies the set with tracks that continue this exploration of sonic landscapes. The concert promises to be direct and precise, unlabelled, driven by an organic energy and choruses that settle in effortlessly.
