On April 15, 2026, GIFT arrives at Dabadaba in Donostia / San Sebastián to present Illuminator, their first release on the Captured Tracks label. Formed in Brooklyn, the quintet moves between shoegaze and New York psychedelia, blending dream pop, psychedelic rock and a krautrock pulse: layered guitars, vocals that meld into the mix, and melodic songwriting that leans toward pop without losing its hypnotic edge.

Illuminator assembles 11 refined, often danceable tracks, where influences ranging from Madonna to MGMT surface: expansive melodies, a careful touch of electronic elements, and open production that pushes the songs toward a widescreen pop format. Live, GIFT works rhythmic tension and misty atmospheres with precision: repetitive grooves, airy textures and choruses that emerge amid delays and synths, in a set that alternates controlled trance and bursts of pop energy.

Alongside the new material, the band often revisits Momentary Presence (2022, Dedstrange), the album that defined their identity between motorik repetition and direct songcraft. A concert to enter their contemporary psychedelic universe and move to their fusion of indie, electronic music and alternative rock.
