Taburete

Taburete provides the soundtrack for Cicatrices Music Experience, the event where Tøtem pulses live and which celebrates the pop music that left a mark on us. On July 24, 2026, at Live Punta Umbría, the Madrid-based band will arrive with Guillermo “Willy” Bárcenas’s voice and Antón Carreño’s guitar at the forefront, blending pop and Spanish song with Latin American touches.

From their debut Tres tequilas (2015) and Doctor Charas (2016), through Madame Ayahuasca (2018) — with more elaborate arrangements and references to Mexico and South America — to the shift toward a more pop-rock sound on Matadero 5 (2020) and La broma infinita (2021), their repertoire moves between rumba, ballad and the electrifying force of guitars, with straightforward lyrics about travel, friendship and relationships.

Live, Taburete operates as an expanded band, with a rhythm section and keyboards that drive the songs between a festive pulse and intimate passages. At Cicatrices, that blend aligns with the idea of showing what leaves its mark on us: songs to sing along to and others to breathe through slowly, always with that urban, communal “peña” spirit the group has been refining onstage.
