Ramoncín returns to the stage in Bilbao: on 29 May 2026 Kafe Antzokia (Bilbao) hosts one of the names that defined Madrid’s urban rock. Since the late ’70s, José Ramón Julio Márquez has blended the energy of punk with rock ’n’ roll riffs and a direct, neighborhood-rooted, socially charged lyricism. Onstage he stays true to the classic format: guitars up front, bass and drums keeping the pulse, and a voice that fires off stories without detours.

The concert moves between the urgency of the more electric numbers and more narrative cuts, making stops across different phases of a career that went through the Movida Madrileña and absorbed echoes of new wave and power pop. The band drives, he leads, and the repertoire spans several decades with the immediacy of a packed room: streetwise songs, razor-sharp choruses and that blunt tone that has endured over the years.
