The Locos

On 18 November 2026 at La Rayonne in Villeurbanne, The Locos bring their no‑nonsense ska punk led by Pipi, former vocalist and frontman of Ska‑P. Born in Madrid in the mid‑2000s, the band has crafted a sound designed for live shows: driving guitars, a full‑on rhythm section, melodic brass and shouted backing vocals. Their lyrics, in Spanish, tackle social and political issues, with that Latin‑European streak that makes you want to take up the choruses together.

On stage, The Locos play tight and get straight to the point, alternating between punchy skank rhythms and punk surges. The set draws from Jaula de grillos and Energía inagotable, mixed with more recent tracks, extending the Madrid ska‑punk aesthetic into a tighter format centered on Pipi’s direct singing and clear arrangements. No frills — a compact show where the brass carries the melodies, the rhythm section keeps up the pressure and the crowd responds in chorus.
