The Minds Of 99

The Minds Of 99 bring their Danish-language rock to Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning, Denmark on March 20, 2026. Formed in Copenhagen in the early 2010s, the quintet — Niels Brandt (vocals), Asger Wissing (bass), Anders Folke Larsen (keys), Louis Clausen (drums) and Jakob Bechmann (guitar) — fuses post-punk urgency, new wave textures and alternative pop instincts. After winning the Danish KarriereKanonen in 2013, they set a clear course: a self-titled debut in 2014 with a lean, driving sound; Liber (2015) sharpening the pop structures; Solkongen (2018) opening up the palette with melodic guitars and synths; and Infinity Action (2021) pushing toward brighter, more rhythmic contours.

On stage, the band builds around Brandt’s direct vocal presence, prominent bass lines and synth lines that sometimes brush against electronic pop while keeping a firm rock backbone. The set typically moves between tight, propulsive tracks and wider, melodic passages, pulling from across their catalog.
