ROYA brings their electronic pop to TRAIN in Aarhus on 4 December 2026. Based on Denmark’s coast, the duo of Line Gade and Sebastian Igens stitches Nordic-tinged melodies, airy vocals and a pop-house pulse into songs built for both headphones and the dancefloor. First paired by international publishers, they honed their craft writing and producing for others, including 6ix9ine and MNEK, which sharpened their sense for concise hooks and clear structures. After a more unstable personal spell, they turned that experience inward and started shaping ROYA’s own voice: introspective themes, light-on-its-feet grooves, and compact choruses.

On stage, expect precise electronics, shifting textures and a vocal line kept front and center. Tracks like Kinda Sad or Cruise sketch the blueprint, but the project keeps moving, testing versions and ideas in close dialogue with their community. Between studio work for outside artists and a growing run of ROYA singles, the set leans into different shades of contemporary electronic pop, from slow-burners to straight-to-dancefloor cuts.
