Les Gordon

Marc Mifune, known as Les Gordon, comes from Rennes and first came to prominence at the Transmusicales in 2013. A producer of many facets, he released a string of EPs, including two on Kitsuné, followed by three albums on Sony Music, while also producing for Gaël Faye, Biird and Lulu Gainsbourg. His trajectory between electronica and instrumental pop establishes a clear and supple sonic language.

A multi-instrumentalist trained in cello, Les Gordon composes with chopped-up vocals, guitars tinged with melancholy and crisp beats, where organic textures and synths respond to one another. His tracks move forward through repetitive motifs and readable melodies, playing the contrast between a club pulse and a more contemplative breath, with a precise attention to sonic detail.

Released on 30 January 2026, his fourth album, Ornement, opens a new chapter without breaking with his signature. The tracks deploy new colours and more finely honed arrangements. He will present this repertoire in a live set on 28 May 2026 at L’Ubu in Rennes, in a format conceived for the stage, between progressive constructions, weightless choruses and a play of textures that shifts the producer’s workshop onto the dancefloor.
