Tom McRae

Tom McRae returns to performing solo in autumn 2026. After celebrating the 25th anniversary of his debut album with his band, he hits the road alone again, guitar in hand, for an evening that spans his discography between stripped-back folk and British alternative. On 20 November 2026 at La Maison Bleue in Strasbourg, he will present an intimate set where the music intersects with backstage stories, memories and wry asides, like a conversation woven through the songs.

First revealed in 2000 by a debut album nominated for the Mercury Prize and also cited at the Q Awards and the BRIT Awards, the singer-songwriter has since released ten records, from Just Like Blood and The Alphabet of Hurricanes to Étrange Hiver. This concert draws from that entire catalogue: the songs we know, rarer tracks, and stripped-down versions that refocus attention on the voice and the writing. No artifices, just the essentials: a musician revisiting his path, taking the time to tell stories, and reworking songs that have accompanied a quarter-century of stage and studio.
