On July 1, 2026, Jazz à Vienne brings together Imany and Molly Johnson at the Théâtre Antique in Vienne. Two low, resonant voices, two approaches to soul and jazz, for an evening that moves between intimate acoustic confidences and reimagined standards.
Imany arrives with the blend of soul, folk and pop she has shaped from New York to Paris. Her hallmark is spare songwriting and a direct presence, carried by guitar and a distinctive vocal grain. Since Voodoo Cello, her repertoire has engaged with a cello ensemble and reinterpretations of international pop. On stage she weaves English-language ballads, slow grooves and stripped-down covers, playing with silence and dynamic contrast.
Alongside her, Canadian Molly Johnson embraces the school of vocal jazz. Born out of the Toronto scene, she mixes standards and original compositions with supple phrasing, a warm timbre and clear arrangements in which jazz flirts with blues and soul. Her concerts alternate mellow swing, mid-tempos and nods to the great songbook, including tributes to Billie Holiday.
