Big Sugar brings the 30th Anniversary Hemi-Vision Tour to BOND|ST Event Centre in Oshawa on May 22, 2026. Three decades after Hemi-Vision put Diggin A Hole, If I Had My Way and Gone for Good on Canadian airwaves, the band revisits the record that fused blues grit, rock drive and reggae pulse into its own groove. Expect thick bass, big drums and Gordie Johnson’s guitar work pushing these songs back to the front line, true to the spirit that shaped them in the late 90s.

On stage, Johnson leads a tight power trio with bassist Anders Drerup and drummer Root Valach, a lineup refined on the 500 Pounds tour. They thread blues and reggae through a wall of guitars, stacking harmonies that nod to Jamaica, Motown and a down-home kitchen singalong. The night unfolds in two sets: first, Hemi-Vision performed live in full, then a second round of favorites and rarities pulled from across the Big Sugar catalogue.
