On 19 November 2026 Salmo will perform at Melkweg, Amsterdam. The Sardinian rapper, born Maurizio Pisciottu in Olbia (1984), built his sound on the fault line between punk/metal and hip-hop. From The Island Chainsaw Massacre (2011) and Death USB (2012) he laid down sharp raps over electronic textures and dark atmospheres. With Midnite (2013) and Hellvisback (2016) he refined his writing and cinematic imagery, while Playlist (2018) and Flop (2021) further expanded the spectrum between rap, trap and rock.

Live, Salmo leans on tight beats, riffs and tempo changes, delivering a set that shifts between raw tracks and melodic moments. As the linchpin of Machete Crew and co‑founder of Machete Empire Records, he issues material that features collaborations with, among others, Marracash, Nitro and Noyz Narcos. He also shapes the visual aspect of his projects, which is reflected on stage in timing, stage design and a sense of montage. Expect a tour set that places older core tracks alongside more recent work, with a focus on rhythm, lyrics and production — a compact cross-section of an artist who smoothly combines studio work, beatmaking and live performance.
