The Celtic Social Club

On November 5, 2026 at 6MIC in Aix-en-Provence, The Celtic Social Club celebrates its tenth anniversary on stage and unveils You Should Know, its fifth album, which brings the band back to basics. With a new singer from Dublin and a Franco-Irish collective with an open, flexible lineup, the group refines its blend of rock, folk and pop—fed by Celtic tradition but without being confined by it.

Guided in the studio by English producer Nick Davis (Genesis, The Pogues, Björk, XTC), they recorded together in the same room at their bassist Richard Puaud’s studio near Poitiers. Ten tracks captured as close as possible to the energy of their live performances, with prominent vocals, supple bass lines, chiming twelve-string guitars, luminous violins and straight-ahead rhythms.

On stage, this cocktail sounds more direct and more British, somewhere between The Clash, The Pogues and Fontaines D.C. The Celtic Social Club is gradually moving away from Breton, Irish or Scottish themes to explore other songwriting territories, and pushes its Celtic-pop format toward an international horizon. A date to gauge this new evolution, between choruses forged for the stage and driving instrumental pulses.
