Ty Segall

On 17 September 2026 at the Bataclan, Ty Segall arrives with a repertoire designed to blur the lines between garage, psych and electric folk. Born in Laguna Beach and revealed in the late 2000s out of San Francisco, he first imposed a raw, lo‑fi sound (Ty Segall, Lemons, Melted), before opening up to more psychedelic, melodic rock (Goodbye Bread, Twins), then exploring a more intimate acoustic vein (Sleeper). His trajectory then moved through edgier contours, between glam accents and heavy riffs (Manipulator, Emotional Mugger), and shows a marked taste for textures and dynamic shifts (Freedom's Goblin, First Taste).

Now based in Los Angeles, he continues to expand his musical playground with Harmonizer, Hello, Hi and Three Bells, alternating abrasive keyboards, guitar ballads and fuzz attacks. On stage, Ty Segall moves effortlessly between garage urgency and psychedelic drift, stringing together short, direct-energy songs and longer, more developed passages. This Bataclan concert promises a compact panorama of his various periods, driven by songwriting that favors clear melodies as much as gritty saturation, and by a live sensibility where instinct always takes precedence.
