Bölzer + Misthyrming + Vitriol + Trepaneringsritualen

On 15 March 2026 at Patronaat in Haarlem, the evening is all about intensity, with Bölzer, Misthyrming, Vitriol and Trepaneringsritualen sharing the same night.

Bölzer is the Swiss duo of Okoi Jones (vocals, guitar) and Fabian Wyrsch (drums). Their sound straddles black and death metal, raw and atmospheric at once. With only two members they construct wide, pulsing compositions: searing riffs, earthy, almost tribal rhythms and a charged, almost mythic undertone. Visceral and spellbinding, with a tension that lingers.

Misthyrming raises the temperature further with razor-edged arcs of tension and dissonances that lock in. Cold melodies and violent eruptions alternate, with the emphasis on texture and dynamics rather than ornamentation.

Vitriol opts for pure pressure: angular structures, tight friction between guitar and drums and a vocal delivery that punctuates every bar. Compact, direct and without detour.

Trepaneringsritualen lowers the lights and emphasizes ritual and atmosphere. Pulse, drones and percussion build a trance that rolls through the body and leaves the rest of the night resonating. Four approaches to the same darkness, brought together in a single venue.
