Jonna Fraser

On 29 May 2026 Jonna Fraser will perform at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht. The Zaandam native emerged in the mid-2010s as a fixture in Dutch hip-hop, with a smooth blend of melodic rap, R&B, afro and dancehall. Through the New Wave collective he set the tone for a new generation, and he has released solo projects alongside collaborations with the likes of Ronnie Flex, Broederliefde and Sevn Alias. Hooks and verses alternate, with stories about relationships, everyday life and nights out, always with a nod to the club.

On stage, Jonna is all about melody and rhythm: memorable choruses, tightly rapped verses and productions that invite you to move. Between pop, rap and Caribbean influences he weaves a thread through his catalogue, from recent singles to tracks that work live, while leaving room for the collaborations that have shaped his sound. A show built around the single format and the shared energy with the audience, straight out of the contemporary urban scene.
