On 21 June 2026 Patronaat, Haarlem, will host a double bill featuring The Exploited and Skroetbalg. The Exploited bring the raw UK82 sound that has driven them since the late 1970s: fast tempos, no‑frills riffs, shout‑along slogans and the unmistakable voice of Wattie Buchan. Their set reaches back to early classics like “Army Life,” “Punk’s Not Dead” and “Troops of Tomorrow,” and also follows the heavier crossover line with material from The Massacre, Beat the Bastards and Fuck the System. Direct, compact and uncompromising: punk on the cutting edge between street and hardcore.
Skroetbalg, from the north of the Netherlands, open with Oi!-soaked punk’n’roll: fast beats, a rough vocal delivery in Drents and Dutch, and choruses that bounce back from the crowd like a choir. With Tot De Nek In De Shit (2020) and Alles Gaat Kapot (2022) the band established their signature: simple, effective structures, themes drawn from everyday life and tensions on the city’s outskirts. Live they sound immediate and abrasive—exactly the fuel for an evening defined by energy and communal singing.
