Rhythm presents: Fabe (live), Alx Hale, & Tabbara

On April 3 at Rhythm, Mannheim-based artist Fabe brings his live set, with Alx Hale and Tabbara on support for an all-night get-down.

Berlin-based music producer, DJ, and beatmaker Fabe has established himself in the electronic music scene, blending his 90s and early 2000s hip-hop roots into a personal take on house music. At the core of Fabe's sound lies a simple focus: "Groove."

Fabe's productions often use raw, unpolished drums, processed through the SP-1200 sampler/drum machine. He focuses on simplicity, building tracks from a few elements.

He favors minimal, hardware-focused production, relying on tools like the K.O. Sampler by Teenage Engineering, which inspired his self-coined genre: "4-Track K.O. House." He works primarily with hardware synths and drum machines. His portable setup enables him to record and jam live in various settings.

He has played at DC-10 in Ibiza and Sunwaves Festival in Romania. His recent work continues to develop his style with a focus on groove.
