On May 7, 2026 at Le Hasard Ludique in Paris, After takes the stage. The Los Angeles duo, made up of Graham Epstein and Justine Dorsey, met on Hinge and chose to form a band rather than pursue life as a couple. Both born on August 23, 1995, they share the same clock and a taste for backlit melodies. Their sound draws on 2000s pop and trip-hop: clear lines in the spirit of Michelle Branch, shadows and textures borrowed from Portishead, a knack for choruses à la Fountains of Wayne, and pads and echoed vocals that recall Enigma. On stage, intertwined voices, delicate guitars, soft, cushioned beats and warm basslines create a nocturnal atmosphere. The songs alternate between half-light ballads and electronic pulses, with understated hooks and tight songwriting. After condenses its influences without tacked-on nostalgia, delivering a compact, direct set.
