José González stops in Paris for a solo concert showcasing Against The Dying Of The Light, his fifth album due in 2026 on City Slang. On 24 November 2026 at the Trianon, the Swedish songwriter of Argentine origin unfolds his stripped-back folk: precise fingerpicked guitar, a hushed voice and discreet rhythms that proceed in measured steps. You can hear the synthesis that runs through his work, from the chiaroscuro of Veneer and In Our Nature to the slightly more electric textures of Vestiges & Claws, extended since Local Valley by lyrics in English, Spanish and Swedish.

On stage, José González works with nuance and dynamics, alternating delicate arpeggios, repetitive motifs and percussive accents played directly on the strings. Without artifice, his songs sketch a restrained atmosphere, between Nordic folk and Latin American reminiscences.
