Fools Garden - Electro-acoustic Session

Fools Garden brings the Electro-Acoustic Session to Hamburg: On 17 June 2026 at the Schanzenzelt the band will present a side that reworks their classics and new material — acoustically stripped back and simultaneously refined with electronic elements.

Since the early ’90s Peter Freudenthaler and Volker Hinkel have defined the sound of Fools Garden: pop-rock with clear guitars, melodies with a Sixties touch and a kinship with the Britpop tradition. With songs like “Lemon Tree” they became known across Europe; since then the duo has continued to develop its repertoire in the studio and on stage with rotating collaborators and to tour regularly.

The Electro-Acoustic Session blends warm acoustic guitars, vocals and keys with subtle electronic textures and beats. Well-known tracks gain fresh dynamism without losing their core, and new songs stand directly alongside the familiar melodies. The setup places vocals, hooks and arrangement details at the forefront — close to the audience, rhythmically precise and with room for spontaneous moments.
