On May 8, 2026, at Hafenklang in Hamburg, Mash Up Di Bass presents the Belgian artist, composer and multi-instrumentalist Tsar B (Justine Bourgeus). She combines pop, baroque classical elements and club beats into compact, tension-filled arrangements and has worked visually for years — in film, dance and fashion. After the EP (2016), the debut album The Games I Play, Unpaintable (2020) and to the stars (2023), her third album, The Writer, was released in 2026. Collaborations with Alexander Chung, Oscar and the Wolf and Nova Twins, as well as the concert film Les Dîners de Gala made during the pandemic, demonstrate her appetite for boundary-crossing; at the same time she is active as a film composer and producer. Live, precise layering meets clear vocals and bass that pushes straight to the front.
Manu Louis will also perform live and will round out the evening with his own set.
