On 10 April 2026 at Lido in Berlin, Hellripper and Schizophrenia share the stage for a night of high‑velocity extreme metal, with support from Sarcator.
Hellripper, the project of Scottish musician James McBain, distills a black ’n’ roll blend that fuses early black metal, speed and thrash with a lean, modern snap. Deeply tied to Scottish folklore, the songs riff on witchcraft, legends and stark landscapes, then fire back as razor riffs, racing tempos and a biting, high‑pitched bark. On stage, the focus stays on momentum, compact structures and serrated leads that hit head‑on.
From Belgium, Schizophrenia drive death/thrash with a tense, old‑school‑meets‑now approach: churning low end, scything guitars, sudden breaks and fevered vocals, built for hard turns and tight impact. The result is direct and physical without losing a dark melodic streak.
