Info
On 20 March 2026 at the Hafenklang in Hamburg, Cologne punk shows its uncompromising side: Detlef, formed in 2017 out of the scene around Supernichts and Knochenfabrik, relies on direct lyrics and compact songs. Behind the trio are Detlef Löber (drums, vocals) and Detlef Meurer (guitar, vocals) from Supernichts, and Detlef Damm (bass, vocals) from Incoming Leergut. Musically, the three-piece ranges from midtempo to fast melodic punk, between sing-along hooks and 60-second bursts. Lyrically it deals with everyday life and its impositions—sometimes uplifting, sometimes downbeat, often turned on themselves—with a self-deprecating twist.
Ernte 77 from Cologne captures the spirit of the times with a satirical eye. Catchy melodies and occasionally multi-part harmonies meet deliberately roughened vocal lines that give the songs an edgy, subversive touch. Everyday observations may stumble here and there, but they never let the chorus slip from your mind—catchy, yet never too polished.
Veto opts for deliberately off-kilter punk rock: sometimes loud, sometimes affectionately off-key, sometimes both at once. They play what’s fun and sing what can’t be left unsaid. Genuine feeling, clear moments, and an effort to stay relaxed despite all seriousness. Less 'against', more 'for'—with conviction and without wagging a finger.
