Like a Star: Celebrating 20 Years of Corinne Bailey Rae comes to Danforth Music Hall in Toronto on June 6, 2026. Corinne revisits the songs that introduced her in the mid-2000s, from the understated Like a Star and the acoustic soul of her 2006 debut, through the deeper shades of The Sea, the airy grooves and subtle electronics of The Heart Speaks in Whispers, and the raw, exploratory textures of Black Rainbows. On stage, her voice stays close and unforced, carried by guitar and a rhythm section that leaves space. The set threads pop, soul, folk and light jazz, with room for detours, deep cuts and reworked versions. Two decades in, she looks back without nostalgia, linking early intimacy with later explorations into gospel, rock and abstract soul.
