Primal Fear

On October 6, 2026 at the Rex in Toulouse, Primal Fear brings its heavy/power metal crafted for the stage. Formed in 1997 around vocalist Ralf Scheepers and bassist Mat Sinner, the band from the Stuttgart area delivers fast riffs, melodic twin guitars and a high-pitched voice that cuts through the mix. In their DNA is an ’80s heavy-metal heritage, spiced with speed, catchy choruses and dark themes.

From the self-titled album to Metal Commando, via Nuclear Fire, Seven Seals and Apocalypse, the band has honed a formula that alternates full-on assaults, heavy mid-tempos and power ballads. Changes of guitarists have not diminished the core of the sound, still anchored by Scheepers and Sinner.

On stage, Primal Fear plays with precision and melodic tension, featuring tight backing vocals and responding twin guitars.
