Born in North Carolina between gospel and church choir, sosocamo has shaped a melodic rap that blends Southern trap, a pop sensibility and an online underground heritage. A self-taught home-studio producer, he first released tracks focused on singing before gradually incorporating rap, honing a supple voice and a measured use of autotune. Influenced by Future, Young Thug, Kendrick Lamar and even Justin Bieber’s pop, he moves forward with direct lyrics and productions credited alongside Grayto, Synthetic, Taz Taylor and Rio Leyva. After the EP Screens (2023) and the album No Service (2024), largely crafted at home, he is preparing Big Country, billed as a more energetic and versatile evolution of his melodic rap.

See him on April 19, 2026 at Le Ritz PDB in Montreal for a set that spans No Service and Screens, with unreleased material and previews from Big Country. Between themes of rural isolation, choruses carried by clear melodies and precise production, sosocamo presents a live format designed for intimacy, without unnecessary artifice.
