With Ah... l'école!, Booder picks up his notebook and his four-colour pen to dive back into the classroom, from his own schooling to his son's. The comedian unfolds a notebook of memories and present-day snapshots, featuring classmates, memorable teachers, turbulent recesses, pop quizzes and sharp questions. He also addresses school bullying and the system's shortcomings, always through the lens of lived experience and the offbeat perspective that are his trademark, without pointing fingers or preaching.
Known for the funny “private lessons” he gives his son, Booder turns these living-room scenes into sketch material, blending self-deprecation, witty lines and a keen sense of timing. His way of talking about family, origins, school and passing things on forges a direct connection with the audience, resonating with both former pupils and today’s parents.
