On May 24, 2026 at SAW in Ottawa, Cat Clyde brings the folk-and-roots blend that has shaped her path. The Ontario artist works with a clear voice, spare guitars and a feel for acoustic space. From Ivory Castanets to the more electric Hunters Trance, her songs move between slow folk ballads, blues‑inflected pieces and laid‑back rock. The duet album with Jeremie Albino and the stripped‑back Good Bones pushed her toward even leaner arrangements, and 2023’s Down Rounder kept the focus on songwriting that breathes. On stage, that mix lands with warmth and detail, leaving room for melody and words.
Special guest Joe Abbott joins the bill to open the night.
