Fit For A King brings the Lonely God North American Tour to The Palace Theatre in Calgary on May 7, 2026. Formed in Tyler, Texas, the band shapes a metalcore mix of harsh and clean vocals, tight rhythms, melodic surges and crisp breakdowns. Their lyrics tap into faith, doubt and personal struggle, and their set draws on material spanning Creation/Destruction to The Hell We Create.
Invent Animate joins with a progressive take on the genre: syncopated riffs, detailed guitar harmonies and atmospheric layers that open up between surges of intensity. With Swedish vocalist Marcus Vik at the mic, the group moves from jagged patterns to more spacious passages, revisiting chapters from Everchanger, Stillworld, Greyview and Heavener.
From France, ten56. completes the lineup. Led by Aaron Matts, the project leans into slowed deathcore with nu metal shades and industrial textures. Downtuned guitars, staggered tempos and electronic samples frame vocals that switch between growls, spoken lines and rhythmic phrasing, creating a live mood built on tension and release.
