Des Rocs — the New York rock project of singer-guitarist Danny Rocco — lands at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto on April 19, 2026. Since the late 2010s, he’s carved an alt-rock vein that fuses rock’n’roll drive, blues touches and melodic hard-rock accents, built around direct choruses and stacked vocals. After a run of EPs (Let The Vultures In, Martyr Parade, This Is Our Life), the albums A Real Good Person In A Real Bad Place (2021) and Dream Machine (2023) pushed that guitar-and-voice core further, with a tight live band shaping songs for clubs as much as larger stages.
ROMES, the Toronto duo of brothers Jacob and Nicolas Bitove, set the tone with a rock/electronic blend of overdriven guitars, heavy rhythms and shadowy synth textures. Spotted at Austin City Limits and on US dates with Mutemath, they’ve since shared bills with The Strokes, Silversun Pickups, The Warning and Saint Asonia. Fully independent since 2021, they gathered singles on the EP My Demons Are My Best Friends, contributed to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 soundtrack with Jack Wall in 2024, and released the album Sonic Trash in 2025.
