On October 20, 2026, Cat Power, also known as Chan Marshall, brings her The Greatest 20th Anniversary Tour to the Muffathalle in Munich. Twenty years ago, The Greatest was released — a work that spans folk, soul, blues and rock. For the anniversary she places the album’s songs at the center: stripped-back and intimate, carried by her distinctive voice along with piano and guitar.
Since the 1990s, Cat Power has shaped the indie scene with introspective songs and a direct, unpretentious stage presence. Live, she works with subtle dynamics, moving between acoustic passages and electric tones, and leaves space for silence. Between her own material and selected reinterpretations of other artists, she develops a focused dramatic arc that casts new light on The Greatest and traces her path through folk, soul, blues and rock.
