The Avener - 2026

On April 18, 2026, The Avener comes to the Columbia Theater in Berlin, bringing his melodic deep-house signature—somewhere between pop, folk and blues. Behind the name is French producer and DJ Tristan Casara, raised in Nice, trained at the piano, who enjoys rethinking songs and translating them into club-ready reworks. His breakthrough came with “Fade Out Lines,” a reinterpretation of Phoebe Killdeer’s “The Fade Out Line,” which opened him up to an international audience. On his debut The Wanderings of The Avener (2015) he mixed reworks and collaborations; Heaven (2020) deepened this approach, balancing clearly structured songs and instrumental pieces.

Live, The Avener favors moderate tempos, warm, organic textures and vocals that lie over precise grooves. He moves between house, catchy melodies and subtle vocal samples, letting remixes, edits and his own productions flow into one another while keeping the dramaturgy close to the song. Piano roots, fine dynamics and plenty of space for the voice: it is precisely this intersection that defines his set—danceable, atmospheric and attentive to detail. On that evening, Berlin will experience its characteristic, melody-driven take on electronic music.
