Pink Floyd performed by Echoes

On 30 July 2026 the tribute band echoes will bring the soundscapes of Pink Floyd to the Seebühne Bremen. Since 1993, founders Paul Ahrens and Steffen Maier have been working on a detailed live translation of the Pink Floyd cosmos, steering the project with experience and a steady hand.

From 2024 echoes is performing with a refreshed line-up. Dennis Hormes takes over David Gilmour’s guitar parts; he has already appeared with the band as a guest. His playing combines openness, creativity and a tangible appetite for improvisation, without losing sight of the clarity, depth and characteristic spirit of the originals.

Musically, the set spans several decades: from early experiments such as Ummagumma and Meddle through The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall, into the post‑Waters era. Alongside well‑known tracks, rarer pieces also appear, rounding out the repertoire with variety.

The show is conceived as a just‑under‑three‑hour journey. Precise live sound, a well‑developed light show and computer‑controlled video projections support the music without overpowering it. echoes relies on the flow of the performance, respect for the original arrangements and occasional spaces for freedom — a focused tribute that anchors Pink Floyd in the present.
