Keimzeit 2026 - Die Tour zum neuen Album

Keimzeit are touring in 2026 with a new album. On 7 May 2026 the band will play at the Strom in Munich. Having grown around singer and songwriter Norbert Leisegang since the late 1970s, Keimzeit move within German-language rock between catchy pop sensibilities, folk-tinged colours and a touch of ska. Distinctive are the narrative lyrics that capture everyday scenes and observations—not with grandiosity, but with an eye for detail. Earlier milestones, such as the 1990s album Irrenhaus and songs like Kling Klang, paved the way into clubs and festivals; at the same time the Keimzeit Akustik Quintett opened up a more stripped-back, intimate perspective on the repertoire.

On stage the electric band sound meets clear melodies and arrangements that leave room for the stories. In Munich Keimzeit will present new songs and link them with familiar material from different phases of the band’s career. Expect an evening that makes audible the breadth of their universe: between driving grooves, crisp guitars, subtle offbeat moments and quiet passages in which the words linger.
