Dermot Kennedy brings his blend of pop and folk to Berlin: on May 15, 2026 he will take the stage at the Max-Schmeling-Halle. His distinctive, powerful voice carries songs that oscillate between quiet acoustic moments, electronic tension and slowly swelling choruses. With tracks like "Outnumbered" and "Power Over Me" he has gained wide recognition without losing his preference for clear melodies and direct lyrics. Without Fear (2019) laid the groundwork; Sonder (2022) deepened his exploration of vulnerability and relationships. Live he relies on dynamics rather than effects: intimate passages, then intensity, then calm — a sequence that keeps his songs accessible while leaving room for grandeur.
Also on the bill is Amble, an Irish trio that builds contemporary folk around voices and guitars.
