On 26 May 2026, Chance Peña brings his tour When I Change My Mind, I Don’t Mean It to the TonHalle Munich. The singer-songwriter from East Texas blends folk tradition and contemporary pop sensibility with a subtle, handcrafted approach. Discovered early, he signed with Secret Road at 17 and honed his instinct for storytelling that stays close to the details. Songs like “Up, Up & Away” from the film Five Feet Apart drew attention to him, as did his collaboration with John Legend on “Conversations in the Dark,” which earned him a Grammy nomination.
Live, Peña relies on pared-down arrangements, acoustic warmth and lyrics that linger. Following the atmospheric Ever-Shifting, Continual Blossoming, his current album When I Change My Mind I Don’t Mean It was created in a remote cabin in California — even clearer, even more intimate, and unburdened.
