Sam Sauvage

On 21 November 2026 at the Rockstore in Montpellier, Sam Sauvage presents on stage the songs from his debut album Mesdames, Messieurs! Originally from Boulogne-sur-Mer, the self-taught singer-songwriter — nominated at the Victoires de la Musique in the Révélation masculine category — crafts an edgy French pop nourished by ’80s rock, new wave and direct songwriting. His songs blend the intimate, the social and the political without detour, with a compelling sense of phrasing.

On stage, no frills: powerful vocals, an intense, fully present stage presence and precise gestures. He inhabits each piece and builds tension, carried by taut arrangements. Years of concerts, festivals and opening slots — Zaho de Sagazan, Eddy de Pretto, Clara Luciani, Feu! Chatterton — have sharpened a set where energy and melancholy coexist, staying close to the text and the rhythm. Here, everything unfolds in the moment, delivered in a very physical way.
