The Lords of Altamont + guest

On May 4, 2026 at Le Molotov in Marseille, The Lords of Altamont deliver raw, no-nonsense garage rock. Born in Los Angeles around singer–organist Jake Cavaliere (formerly of The Bomboras), the band formed in the late 1990s with Johnny Devilla and has since drawn on a biker aesthetic that evokes the Altamont imagery. Their sound mixes ’60s punk, proto hard rock and psychedelia, driven by a constant organ presence, gritty riffs and a clear vocal with that Detroit edge reminiscent of MC5 — a band that briefly counted Michael Davis on bass.

Honed over countless miles of clubs and festivals, The Lords of Altamont play tight and direct, a formula shaped by sharing stages with acts like The Cramps and The Who. Live, the organ leads the charge, the guitars heat up and the rhythm section pushes straight ahead, running through signature tracks and newer material, including songs from Tune In, Turn On, Electrify!. A compact rock’n’roll evening, with a guest opening act.
