Dirty Sound Magnet

Dirty Sound Magnet arrives at L’Antirouille in Montpellier on Thursday, April 23, 2026, with a set conceived specifically for the live stage. The Swiss trio—Marco, Stavros and Maxime—delivers psychedelic rock with prog overtones, fed by 1970s blues and hard rock yet grounded in contemporary songwriting. On stage, their songs unfold in long ascents, punctuated by abrupt breaks, heavy riffs and instrumental passages where the guitar converses with a tight rhythm section. Improvisation is never far away, which gives each concert its own singular trajectory.

As reference points, Western Lies (2017) laid the groundwork between psychedelic moods and direct choruses; Transgenic (2019) explored the conceptual strand focused on techno-social mutations; DSM-III (2022) tightened the writing to better match the energy of the stage. Almost constantly on tour, the band hones its interplay and rearranges its songs as the dates go by. In Montpellier, Dirty Sound Magnet will present their new album: a show that promises tensions and releases, floating grooves, sharp dry breaks and controlled digressions, with the sense of contrast that defines their stage grammar.
