Info
Stockholm-based COBRAH brings the Torn tour to Vancouver at the Commodore Ballroom on April 3, 2026. Active on Sweden’s electronic scene since the late 2010s, she steers a line between experimental pop, hyperpop and bass-heavy club music. Her tracks hinge on percussive grooves, half-spoken half-sung hooks and industrial textures, drawing from techno, dancehall and the queer club continuum.
The self-titled EP COBRAH (2021) marked a clear step onto the international radar with direct writing and sexually explicit themes that she crafts alongside a strong visual world. SUCCUBUS (2023) pushed further into the friction between short pop formats and dancefloor-minded constructions, stacking repetitive refrains and sharply cut breaks.
On stage, COBRAH shifts between vocal performance and DJ-driven intensity, plugged into a network of parties and festivals where European club culture meets LGBTQIA+ audiences. Track by track, she builds a coded universe where identity, the body and pleasure sit at the core of the sound. For Vancouver, the set leans on heavy bass, tight percussion and clipped, chant-like vocals, channeling her studio tension into a focused, physical live moment at the Commodore Ballroom.
